The collections by August Luis

From New York to Barcelona, from Saint Petersburg to Oslo, passing through the French Alps, during my travels and over time, I have collected lights, benches, doors, signals, portraits, objects from all countries.
These are the objects that make up the collections.

"Lights" collection

With the "Lights" collection, I wanted to show that the light on our world is different from one place to another while it is so similar.

"Portraits" collection

With the "Portraits" collection, I wanted to give a nod to the imagination and bring objects to life in their environment or in unexpected places.

"Material" collection

With the collection "Matières", I wanted to show the feeling of the perception of materials. Whether hard or soft, gentle or rough, they tickle our eye and influence the perception of objects and things.

With the "Inspiration" collection, I wanted to leave room for pure imagination, for the chance of places and encounters to let feelings express themselves.

"The passage" collection

With the collection "The passage", I wanted to illustrate all the passages from one state to another, from one world to another, from life to death.

With the "Signals" collection, I wanted to hunt down the signs that are sent to us, sometimes contradictory, sometimes surprising but always original.

With the collection "The benches", I wanted to stop time and thus freeze the moment that allows us to put things into perspective.
